One of the greatest challenges facing practicing thermographers is in the area of data management and report generation. Proper data management and efficient report generation are key components of any successful infrared inspection program. While most manufacturers of infrared imagers provide software for the thermal imagers that they produce, there is currently no software package available from imager manufacturers that generates standards-compliant reports. This course will focus on reporting requirements required by currently published standards, suggested report templates, and how to quickly and efficiently generate standards-compliant reports.
This course is a must for anyone who generates reports for their inspection activities as well as anyone who relies upon the data contained in them.
This course will enable you to:
- recognize the value of report data and its role in an infrared inspection program
- identify key information that is necessary for trending and follow up inspections
- understand reporting requirements of currently published standards
- develop report templates to meet your company’s needs
- identify software that will automatically generate standards-compliant reports
This material is intended for anyone who generates or utilizes infrared inspection reports. Course is designed for in-house and contract thermographers as well as managers of infrared inspection programs.
