Burlington, NJ January 26, 2023 -- Infraspection Institute’s IR/INFO conference was recently held in Orlando, FL. IR/INFO 2023 marks the 33rd anniversary for the advanced training conference, technical symposium and technology expo. IR/INFO was attended by infrared thermographers, PdM technologists, and building inspection professionals from around the world who enjoyed four days of networking, learning, and fun in a relaxed and professional atmosphere.
Jim Seffrin, Director of Infraspection Institute, states, “We were very pleased with this year’s IR/INFO conference. With 7 short courses and over 20 technical presentations, this year’s conference covered a wide range of infrared applications including, but not limited to: new equipment and technologies, safety, home and building inspections, and legal issues. We thank our exhibitors, our speakers, and all who attended and helped to make this year’s conference our best ever.”
On display in the Technology Showcase were the latest in infrared hardware and software, IR windows, condition-based monitoring tools, safety equipment, and offerings by a host of service providers. Sunday evening’s Welcome Reception and dinner provided attendees with an opportunity to relax and network.
Another highlight of the conference occurred on Tuesday evening when guests were treated to a cocktail reception sponsored by TI Reporter™ software. Following the reception, attendees strolled International Drive to enjoy local cuisine at the city’s acclaimed restaurants and enjoyed the mild weather.
One of the many benefits enjoyed by IR/INFO attendees was the opportunity to share knowledge and information ‘across the aisle’ with some of the world’s most experienced professionals. Dale Jackson had this to say about his returning to IR/INFO: “The IR/INFO Conference is a wealth of knowledge for new and experienced thermographers. The relationships that you build are priceless. IR/INFO is a top notch conference.”
First-time attendee Mike Henneker of Australia was equally impressed and shared the following: “Attending the IR/INFO Conference is a must for every professional thermographer. The amount of knowledge and information that I have gained this week is incredible. The organization of the event and the quality of the presentations were first class! Thank you for making me feel welcome.”
Jim Seffrin concludes: “Plans for Infraspection Institute’s next IR/INFO event are already well underway. IR/INFO 2024 will be held at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, FL January 14 – 17, 2024. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year for another fun-filled and informative event.”
