Wins Regional Competition at University of California
Los Angeles, CA May 20, 2008 -- Shay Edwards, a 17 year old junior at Norco High School, placed third at the 57th annual California State Science Fair. The California State Science Fair was held on May 19-20, 2008. Over 950 participants from 359 schools throughout the State competed for awards totaling over $50,000.
His entry titled, Prospective Study of the Effectiveness of Thermal Imaging in the Diagnosis of Arthritis was chosen from nearly 1000 middle and senior high school students during the final round of the state wide competition.
