United Infrared (UI), a company created to help contractors add infrared imaging to their business, is extending a special offer to Infraspection Institute students. Through the end of 2009, Infraspection Institute students who join United Infrared will receive $100 off the $500 annual membership fee.
HOW IT WORKS: When members join United Infrared, Inc., they receive significant discounts on infrared cameras, equipment, and training. UI requires all members to be level I certified and does not teach those classes. Members then choose one or more application-specific modules which enhance the business they want to build. Modules range from $500-$2500 and include everything needed to build an IR consulting business. Each module includes:
- Training on how to perform the applicable infrared survey
- Report templates, contracts, brochures and promotional display templates
- Training on how to market, sell, and grow an infrared business
- After training, members receive continued marketing, sales and business support
Being part of a National Network and receiving leads from UI’s National Marketing Campaign
Available Application Modules: EnergyScanIR™ – teaches how to utilize infrared and blower door testing in the performance of residential energy audits. BlockWallScanIR™ – teaches the application of infrared in the performance of surveys of CMU walls. EquineIR™ – teaches how to perform infrared scans of horses. Future modules to be launched in 2010 are RoofScanIR™ and MoistureFindIR™.
The next EnergyScanIR™ and BlockWallScanIR™ Training Course is scheduled for the 1st week of October in Newark, New Jersey. The next EquineIR™ Training Class is scheduled for October 12th-15th in Bonsall, CA at the San Luis Rey Downs Training Center.
