Infraspection Institute Announces Memorial Scholarship for Veterans

Burlington, NJ  July 18, 2012 -- Infraspection Institute announced today the launch of the Christopher Seffrin Memorial Scholarship for Veterans. Named for Infraspection Institute’s Co-Director, the scholarship is available to veterans of the US Armed Forces who enroll in Infraspection Institute’s Level I, II, or III thermographer training courses.

Jim Seffrin, Director of Infraspection Institute, had this to say: “We are very pleased to introduce this scholarship. It is both a fitting tribute to my brother and to those who have served our country. We believe that it is the only scholarship of its kind and expect it will help to bring more people to the thermographic community.”

The Christopher Seffrin Memorial Scholarship for Veterans is open to all veterans who have served a minimum of four years in the US Armed Forces and have been honorably discharged. A scholarship of $500 is available for Infraspection Institute’s Level I and II Certified Infrared Thermographer® courses and its iLearnIR™ Level I and II thermography courses. A scholarship of $300 is available for the Level III course.

Seffrin adds, “Applying for a scholarship is easy and may be made through the Infraspection Institute Course Registration page. Scholarship value will be deducted from course price at the time of registration and receipt of proof of military service.”
