IR/INFO 2013 a Resounding Success!

Burlington, NJ  January 25, 2013 -- Infraspection Institute’s IR/INFO conference was recently held in Orlando, Florida. IR/INFO 2013 marks the 24th anniversary for the advanced training conference, technical symposium and technology expo. IR/INFO was attended by infrared thermographers, PdM technologists, and building inspection professionals from around the world who enjoyed four days of networking, learning, and fun in a relaxed, family atmosphere.

Jim Seffrin, Director of Infraspection Institute, states, “We were very pleased with this year’s IR/INFO conference. With 5 short courses and nearly 20 technical presentations, this year’s conference covered a broad array of infrared applications, new equipment and technologies, safety, medical applications, home and building inspections, and legal issues. We thank our exhibitors, our speakers and all who attended and helped to make this year’s conference one of our best ever.”
Co-sponsored by Temperatures.com, BuildScanIR and Process Sensors, Inc. this year’s conference also featured the latest in infrared imagers and software from several manufacturers. Sunday evening’s Beach party was a big hit with door prizes going to several lucky winners. Door prizes were graciously donated by Thermasearch, Flir Systems Inc., IPI Infrared, IRINFO.ORG, IRISS, Inc., Logos Computer Solutions, Maintenance Technology Magazine, and New Country BMW.
Clear skies and bright sunshine provided the backdrop for several attendees who enjoyed a round of golf at Lake Buena Vista Golf Club prior to the conference on Sunday morning. Maintenance Technology magazine co-sponsored the event by providing gift bags for all. Top honors and bragging rights went to the team of Jim Brady and Garry Ward.
Ten fishermen showed off their talent on Crescent Lake by pursuing trophy largemouth bass. High hook went to Keith Vosberg and Jack Allinson. In all, 60 fish were caught and quickly released in order to prevent sunburn.
Dave Dispoto had this to say about his returning to IR/INFO: “Attending each year not only expands my knowledge and capabilities – it refreshes me and me motivated to continue improving.”

Bob Byrne of Volunteer Inspection Services was equally impressed and shared the following: “IR/INFO is well worth attending with sharp, excellent content. I will attend again.”
Jim Seffrin concludes: “Plans for Infraspection’s next IR/INFO event are already well underway. IR/INFO 2014 will be held at Harrah’s hotel in New Orleans, LA January 19 – 22, 2014. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year for another fun-filled and informative event.”
