IR/INFO 2017 a Huge Success

Co-sponsored by Temperatures.com, United Infrared, and Maintenance Technology magazine, this year’s conference also featured the latest in infrared imagers and software from several manufacturers. Sunday evening’s Welcome Reception and Tailgate Party provided an opportunity for attendees to reconnect with friends and colleagues and to make new acquaintances.

Highlights from the Conference included a keynote presentation by noted author and building performance expert Corbett Lunsford, a pre-conference hands-on workshop, and the formal rollout of the Infraspection Institute Master Thermographer™ program.

First time attendee Cody Jackson had this to say about his initial IR/INFO experience: “The conference was very informative. With the vast knowledge in the crowd and the presentations, there was a ton of tips, tricks, and business strategies.” Return guest Alan Kowalik, a Level III Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer®, offered the following: “Great conference with great information to help me sharpen my business potential. I will be attending IR/INFO every year!”

IR/INFO veteran Phil Conte was particularly impressed by the variety of topics and summed up his experience as follows: “Wow! A wealth of information applicable to all – from starting a business, legal issues, and safety, to the nuts and bolts of thermography.” In addition to achieving her Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer® status at the conference, Lindsey Pagozalski summed up her experience as follows: “It was a tremendous learning opportunity. I look forward to returning.”

Jim Seffrin concludes: “Plans for Infraspection’s next IR/INFO event are already well underway. IR/INFO 2018 will be held at the Hyatt Centric French Quarter, in New Orleans, LA January 21 – 24, 2018. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year for another fun-filled and informative event.”
