 Director’s Message

Life cycle costing is a familiar topic for those involved in the maintenance of equipment and facilities. Although thermography features prominently in many maintenance programs, few thermographers realize that their certification may have ongoing costs attached to it.

Presently, most infrared training companies issue certifications that carry fixed expiration dates. In order to maintain their certification, students must pay renewal fees and attend additional training classes or conferences.

Due to the dynamic nature of thermography, Infraspection Institute encourages its graduates to keep abreast of changes through continuing education and advanced levels of infrared training where warranted.  Infraspection Institute has never charged renewal fees to maintain our students’ certifications nor set expiration dates on our graduates’ credentials.

Whether you are new to thermography or a seasoned professional, we invite you to consider us for your next infrared training class. In addition to providing you with the world’s best infrared training, we will also provide you with recognized certification that has zero ongoing cost of ownership.

SuccessIRies™ 104 – Temperature Limits for
Electrical and Mechanical Equipment

Qualitative thermography is an invaluable tool for detecting thermal patterns that often precede failures within operating electrical and mechanical systems. Once an exception has been thermographically detected, temperature measurement can be used to help evaluate the condition of the affected component. Temperature measurement can also be used to evaluate components that appear to be operating normally.
While most infrared instrumentation is relatively easy to operate, accurate temperature measurement depends upon proper selection and use of the instrument as well as instrument calibration. Part of Infraspection Institute’s distance learning program, SuccessIRies™ 104 is intended for anyone wishing to understand how to properly apply temperature limits to operating electrical and mechanical equipment.
Course is designed for beginners and experienced thermographers, electricians, mechanics, and facility managers. Course is 38 minutes long and may be accessed 24/7 from a standard web browser or a smart device.

Show Your Colors With Infraspection Seals

We’ve all heard the phrase, ‘You’re judged by the company you keep’. Because the same is true in thermography, Infraspection Institute permits graduates of our Certified Infrared Thermographer® program to display our trademarked seal on their websites and advertising materials.

Recognized worldwide as a symbol of excellence, the two color seal pictured at left is available as a free download. Personalized versions of the seal include thermographer name, certification number, and level of training.

Normally priced at $75, personalized seals are available for $50 during the month of May. Seal upgrades are FREE as you advance your training to higher levels.

To qualify for a discount, place your order through the Infraspection Online Store and enter Promotion Code CITCOURSE during checkout.
