On behalf of Infraspection Institute, I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and well wishes following Hurricane Sandy. All of our staff made it through the storm with varying degrees of difficulty, the most common of which was a lack of electrical and communications utilities. Some of our staff were without electricity for nearly a week.
I also wish to thank fire, rescue, police, and military personnel who helped others before and after the storm for all that you have done and will continue to do in the future. To those who are still struggling, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Twice last week, I visited one of the hardest hit areas near Atlantic City to help in the cleanup effort. It is hard to describe the amount of devastation and misery left in the wake of this historic storm. As of this writing, many people are still without power while others have lost their homes entirely.
With any natural disaster recovery takes time, dedication, and resources. Recovery does not come quickly and will continue long after media personnel have moved on to other stories. If you cannot personally volunteer and would like to help those affected by this or other natural disasters, I would invite you to join Infraspection Institute in making a donation to the American Red Cross.
Infrared thermography is a dynamic technology that is constantly evolving. Because of this, Infraspection Institute’s course content is constantly being updated as technological and industry advances dictate.
If it has been several years since you attended an Infraspection Institute course, there have been BIG changes in the course material and content. Joining us for a current course can provide you with up-to-date information that will help to keep your training fresh.
Infraspection Institute graduates may audit our currently available training courses at a substantial discount. Students wishing to audit a course may choose from open enrollment classes or our convenient, web-based Distance Learning courses. On-site refresher courses are also available for groups of four or more.
Proper training is essential to the success and longevity of any infrared inspection program. If you are a professional thermographer, distribute infrared or related test equipment, or are involved in professional training, we can help you to increase both sales and profits. An affiliation with Infraspection Institute can also help to increase your company’s visibility without compromising your credibility.
With the proliferation of cheaper infrared cameras, competition has become more fierce and profits more scarce. Offering training can not only expand your services and increase profits, it can help provide a long-term relationship that keeps your clients ‘on the farm’ and close to you.
Because Infraspection Institute does not sell infrared equipment, our courses are presented without marketing hype. Since we are not affiliated with infrared equipment manufacturers, you can rest assured that your clients are not being hijacked by a competitor. Best of all, you have several options to choose from including open enrollment classes, on-site courses, and our convenient web-based Distance Learning courses.
